Nuh Suresi 71-71 ( Nuh Peygamber)

SEVGİ VE MERHAMETİ SONSUZ ALLAH’IN ADIYLA

  1. Nuh’u kavmine şu emirle gönderdik: “Kendilerine elem verici bir azap gelmeden önce kavmini uyar.”
  2. “Ey kavmim! Ben sizin için apaçık bir uyarıcıyım” dedi.
  3. “Allah’a kulluk etmeniz, O’ndan korkmanız ve bana itaat etmeniz için:
  4. “Böylece sizin günahlarınızı bağışlasın ve size belirli bir süreye kadar mühlet versin: Allah’ın verdiği süre dolduğunda, artık ileri/öne sürülemez. Keşke bilseydiniz.”
  5. Dedi ki: “Rabbim! Ben ümmetime gece gündüz şöyle seslendim:
  6. “Ama benim çağrım sadece doğrudan kaçışlarını artırıyor.
  7. “Onları bağışlaman için ne zaman çağırsam, kulaklarına parmaklarını tıkarlar, elbiselerine bürünürler, inat ederler ve büyüklük taslarlar.
  8. “Ben de onlara yüksek sesle çağırdım/seslendim;
  9. “Ayrıca onlarla hem alenen hem de gizli gizli konuştum,
  10. “Rabbinizden mağfiret dileyin, çünkü O çok bağışlayıcıdır;
  11. “´Size bolca yağmur gönderecek;
  12. “Mallarınızı ve oğullarınızı çoğaltsın, size bahçeler ihsan etsin ve size akan sulardan ırmaklar ihsan eylesin.
  13. “Size ne oluyor ki Allah’tan lütuf ve sabır ümit etmiyorsunuz?-
  14. “Sizi çeşitli aşamalarla yaratanın O olduğunu gördünüğünüz halde,
  15. “Allah’ın yedi göğü üst üste nasıl yarattığını görmez misiniz?
  16. “Ayı onların arasında bir nur, güneşi de bir kandil kıldığını?
  17. “Ve Allah yavaş yavaş büyüterek sizi topraktan yarattı,
  18. “Sonunda sizi yeryüzüne geri döndürecek ve Kıyamet günü sizi tekrar diriltecek,
  19. “Allah, yeryüzünü sizin için serilmiş bir halı yaptı,
  20. “‘Orada geniş yollarda dolaşasınız diye.’”
  21. Nuh dedi ki: “Rabbim! Onlar bana isyan ettiler, fakat malları ve çocukları kendilerine hiçbir şey katmayan, ancak zarar veren adamlara uydular.”
  22. “Ve muazzam bir Entrika kurdular.
  23. “Ve birbirlerine dediler ki: İlahlarınızı terk etmeyin; ne Vedd’i, ne Suva’yı, ne Yeğus’u, ne Yeuk’u, ne de Nasr’ı terk edin.”
  24. “Zaten birçok kişiyi yanılttılar/birçoğunu saptırdılar, zalimlere de hedeflerinden sapmalarından başka bir şey verme/zalimlere, ancak hedeflerinden sapmayı artır.”
  25. Günahları yüzünden selde boğuldular ve azap ateşine sokuldular ve Allah’tan başka kendilerine yardım edecek kimse bulamadılar.
  26. Ve Nuh dedi ki: “Rabbim! Yeryüzünde kâfirlerden hiçbirini bırakma!
  27. “Çünkü onlardan herhangi birini bırakırsan, kullarını saptırırlar ve sadece kötü, nankör kimseler doğururlar.
  28. “Rabbim! Beni, ana-babamı, evime imanla girenleri, mü’min erkekleri ve mü’min kadınları bağışla. Zalimlere ise, ancak azabını artır.”

Nuh, or Noah. 

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. 

  1. We sent Noah to his People (with the Command):

“Do thou warn thy People before there comes to them a grievous

Penalty.”

  1. He said: “O my People! I am to you a Warner, clear and open:

  2. “That ye should worship Allah, fear Him, and obey me:

  3. “So He may forgive you your sins and give you respite for a

stated Term: For when the Term given by Allah is accomplished,

it cannot be put forward: If ye only knew.”

  1. He said: “O my Lord! I have called to my People night and

day:

  1. “But my call only increases (their) flight (from the Right).

  2. “And every time I have called to them, that Thou mightest

forgive them, they have (only) thrust their fingers into their

ears, covered themselves up with their garments, grown

obstinate, and given themselves up to arrogance.

  1. “So I have called to them aloud;

  2. “Further I have spoken to them in public and secretly in

private,

  1. “Saying, `Ask forgiveness from your Lord; for He is Oft-

Forgiving;

  1. “`He will send rain to you in abundance;

  2. “`Give you increase in wealth and sons; and bestow on you

Gardens and bestow on you Rivers (of flowing water).

  1. “`What is the matter with you, that ye place not hope for

kindness and long-suffering in Allah, —

  1. “`Seeing that it is He that has created you in diverse

stages?

  1. “`See ye not how Allah has created the seven heavens one

above another,

  1. “`And made the moon a light in their midst, and made the sun

as a (Glorious) Lamp?

  1. “`And Allah has produced you from the earth, growing

(gradually),

  1. “`And in the End He will return you into the (earth), and

raise you forth (again at the Resurrection)?

  1. “`And Allah has made the earth for you as a carpet (spread

out),

  1. “`That ye may go about therein, in spacious roads. ‘”

  2. Noah said: “O my Lord! They have disobeyed me, but they

follow (men) whose wealth and children give them no Increase but

only Loss.

  1. “And they have devised a tremendous Plot.

  2. “And they have said (to each other), `Abandon not your gods:

Abandon neither Wadd nor Suwa, neither Yaguth nor Yauq, nor

Nasr’; —

  1. “They have already misled many; and grant Thou no increase

to the wrongdoers but in straying (from their mark).”

  1. Because of their sins they were drowned (in the flood), and

were made to enter the Fire (of Punishment): And they found–in

lieu of Allah–none to help them.

  1. And Noah said: “O my Lord! Leave not of the Unbelievers, a

single one on earth!

  1. “For, if Thou dost leave (any of) them, they will but

mislead Thy devotees, and they will breed none but wicked

ungrateful ones.

  1. “O my Lord! Forgive me, my parents, all who enter my house

in Faith, and (all) believing men and believing women: And to

the wrongdoers grant Thou no increase but in Perdition!”
