İbrahim Suresi 14-72 (İbrahim Peygamber)

SEVGİ VE MERHAMETİ SONSUZ ALLAH’IN ADIYLA

Elif. Lam. Ra. İnsanları -Rablerinin izniyle- karanlıklardan aydınlığa, her şeye gücü yeten ve hamde layık olanın yoluna çıkarman için sana indirdiğimiz bir kitap!-
Göklerde ve yerde her şeyin sahibi olan Allah’ın! Ama inkar edenlerin vay haline, küfürlerinin onlara getireceği büyük azap var!-
Dünya hayatını ahiretten daha çok sevenler, insanları Allah’ın yolundan alıkoyanlar ve onda bir eğrilik arayanlar: İşte onlar, uzak bir sapıklık içindedirler.
Biz her elçiyi, ancak kendi kavminin dilinden öğretsin ve onlara açıklasın diye gönderdik. Artık Allah, dilediğini saptırır, dilediğini de doğru yola iletir. O, mutlak güç sahibidir, hikmet sahibidir.
Musa’yı ayetlerimizle ve emrimizle gönderdik. “Halkını karanlıklardan aydınlığa çıkar ve onlara Allah’ın günlerini zikretmeyi öğret.” Şüphesiz bunda, sabreden ve sebat eden, şükreden ve minnettar kimseler için ibretler vardır.
Hatırlayın! Mûsâ kavmine dedi ki: “Sizi Firavun kavminden kurtardığı zaman, Allah’ın size olan nimetini aklınıza getirin: Onlar size ağır işler ve cezalar verdiler, oğullarınızı boğazladılar ve kadınlarınızı sağ bıraktılar. Orada Rabbinizden büyük bir imtihan vardı.”
Ve Hatırlayın! “Eğer şükrederseniz, size nimetlerimi kat kat artırırım; eğer nankörlük ederseniz, şüphesiz benim azabım gerçekten şiddetlidir” diye ilan ettirdi Rabbiniz.
Musa dedi ki: “Eğer siz ve yeryüzündekilerin hepsi birlikte nankörlük etseniz de, Allah hiç bir şeye muhtaç değildir, her türlü övgüye lâyıktır.
Ey insanlar, sizden öncekilerin haberi size ulaşmadı mı – Nuh, Ad ve Semud kavimlerinden? – Ya onlardan sonra gelenler? Onları Allah’tan başka kimse bilmez. Onlara apaçık delillerle elçiler geldi. Fakat onlar ellerini ağızlarına götürdüler ve dediler ki: “Biz, size gönderilmiş olduğunuz görevi inkar ediyoruz ve bizi davet ettiğiniz şeyden gerçekten kuşkulu, rahatsız edici bir şüphe içindeyiz.”
Elçileri dediler ki: “Gökleri ve yeri yaratan Allah hakkında şüphe mi var? Günahlarınızı bağışlaması ve size belirlenmiş bir süreye kadar mühlet vermesi için sizi çağıran O’dur!” Dediler ki: “Ah, siz de bizim gibi bir insansınız! Bizi atalarımızın tapmakta oldukları ilahlardan uzaklaştırmak istiyorsunuz, öyleyse bize apaçık bir delil getirin.”
Elçileri onlara dediler ki: “Doğrusu, biz de sizin/sizler gibi insanız. Ancak Allah, kullarından dilediğine lütufta bulunur. Allah’ın izin vermediği sürece size bir delil getirmek bize düşmez. Ve bütün müminler Allah’a tevekkül etsinler.”
“Allah’a tevekkül etmememiz için hiçbir sebep yok. Şüphesiz O, bizi gideceğimiz yollara hidayet etti. Bize vereceğiniz eziyetlere elbette sabredeceğiz. Güvenmek isteyenler Allah’a tevekkül etsinler.”
Kâfirler, elçilerine dediler ki: “And olsun ki sizi yurdumuzdan çıkaracağız veya dinimize döneceksiniz.” Fakat Rableri onlara şu mesajı vahyetmiştir: “Biz, zalimleri mutlaka helâk ederiz!
“Andolsun ki, sizi yeryüzünde kalıcı kılacağız ve onların yerine geçireceğiz. Bu vaad, mahkememin huzuruna çıkacakları zamandan korkanlar için – kınanacak azaptan korkanlar için.”
Ama orada ve o zaman zafer ve karar aradılar ve her güçlü inatçı suçlunun kaderi hüsrandı.
Böyle birinin önünde Cehennem vardır ve ona kaynayan kokuşmuş sudan içirilir.
Büyük yudumlar ile onu yudumlar, ama asla boğazına kadar yutamaz: Ölüm ona her taraftan gelir, ama ölmez: ve önünde amansız bir azap vardır.
Rablerini inkar edenlerin durumu, onların amellerinin, fırtınalı bir günde rüzgarın üzerine şiddetle savurduğu küle benzer: Kazandıklarından hiç bir şeye güçleri yetmez/kazandıkları hiç bir şeye hakim değillerdir: işte bu, hedeften uzaklaşmadır.
Allah’ın gökleri ve yeri hak olarak yarattığını görmüyor musun? Dilerse sizi yok edip yerinize yeni bir yaratılış koyabilir.
Bu, Allah için büyük bir mesele de değildir.
Hepsi birden Allah’ın huzuruna çıkarılacaklar: O zaman zayıflar büyüklük taslayanlara şöyle derler: “Biz ancak size uyduk, öyleyse siz bizi Allah’ın gazabından kurtarabilir misiniz?” Onlar, “Eğer biz Allah’ın hidayetini alsaydık, onu size verirdik: Artık bizim için öfkelenmek ya da bu eziyetlere sabırla katlanmak fark etmez: Kendimiz için hiçbir kaçış yolu yoktur.”
Ve iş bitirilince şeytan der ki: “Size hak va’d eden Allah’tır. Ben de söz verdim, fakat size verdiğim sözden caydım. Benim ancak sizi çağırmaktan başka bir yetkim/sultam yoktu, siz de beni dinlediniz.” “Öyleyse beni kınamayın, kendi nefislerinizi kınayın. Ben sizin feryadınıza kulak veremem, siz de benim feryadımı duyamazsınız. Ben sizin beni Allah’a ortak koşmanızı reddediyorum. Zalimler için elem verici bir azap vardır.”
Ancak iman edip salih amel işleyenler, Rablerinin izniyle, altlarından ırmaklar akan cennetlere konulacaklardır. Oradaki karşılamaları: “Selâm!” olacaktır.
Allah’ın nasıl misal verdiğini görmedin mi? – Rabbinin güzel sözü, kökü sağlam, dalları göğe uzanan güzel bir ağaç gibi. Allah, öğüt alsınlar diye insanlara misaller/benzetmeler verir.
Rabbinin izniyle meyvesini her an verir. Allah, öğüt alsınlar diye insanlara misaller verir.
Ve kötü Sözün misali, kötü ağaç gibidir: Dünyanın yüzeyinden kökünden parçalanır: istikrarı yoktur.
Allah, iman edenleri dünyada da ahirette de sağlam sözle sabit kılacaktır. Fakat Allah, zulmedenleri saptırır: Allah dilediğini yapar.
Görme gücünü/yetini Allah’ın nimetini değiştirenlere çevirmedin mi? Küfür edip halkının Lanetlenme Evi’ne inmesine sebep oldular-
Cehenneme. Orada yanacaklar, ne kötü bir kalacak yer!
Ve insanları yoldan saptırmak için Allah’a ortak putlar edindiler! De ki: “Kısa süreli gücünüzün tadını çıkarın! Fakat siz, doğruca Cehenneme yöneltilmektesiniz!”
İman eden kullarıma söyle, aralarında alışverişin ve dostluğun olmadığı bir gün gelmeden önce,salatı düzenli ikame ve kendilerine verdiğimiz rızıklardan gizli ve açık infak etsinler.
Gökleri ve yeri yaratan, gökten yağmur indiren ve onunla size rızık olarak çeşitli meyveler çıkaran Allah’tır. O’nun hükmüyle denizde yüzüp gitmeleri için gemileri ve de ırmakları emrinize veren O’dur.
Güneş’i ve Ay’ı, her ikisi de kendi yörüngelerinde dönmekte olarak, emrinize amade kıldı ve geceyi ve gündüzü de emrinize verdi.
Ve size dilediğiniz her şeyden verir. Fakat Allah’ın nimetlerini sayacak olursanız asla sayamazsınız. Muhakkak insan zulme ve nankörlüğe teslim olmuştur.
İbrahim’in şöyle dediğini hatırlayın: “Rabbim! Bu şehri selâmet ve emniyet eyle; beni ve oğullarımı putlara tapmaktan koru.
“Rabbim, gerçekten onlar insanlardan birçoğunu saptırdılar. Artık kim benim yoluma giderse bendendir, kim de bana isyan ederse, şüphesiz Sen çok bağışlayan, çok merhamet edensin.
“Ey Rabbimiz! Ben, zürriyetimden bir kısmını, salatı dosdoğru ikame etsinler diye, senin kutsal Beyt’inin yanındaki ekinsiz bir vadiye yerleştirdim. O halde insanlardan bazılarının kalplerini onlara karşı sevgiyle doldur ve onları meyvelerle besle ki şükretsinler.
“Ey Rabbimiz, şüphesiz Sen bizim gizlediğimizi de, açığa vurduğumuzu da bilirsin; çünkü yerde ve gökte hiçbir şey Allah’a gizli kalmaz.
“Yaşlılığımda bana İsmail’i ve İshak’ı lütfeden Allah’a hamdolsun: Şüphesiz benim Rabbim duayı işitendir!
Ey Rabbim! beni salatı dosdoğru ikame edenlerden eyle ve zürriyetimden de böyle kimseler yetiştir. Ey Rabbimiz! ve Duamı kabul et.
“Ey Rabbimiz, hesabın görüleceği gün beni, annemi, babamı ve bütün müminleri mağfiretinle ört!
Zalimlerin yaptıklarını Allah’ın görmediğini sanma. O, onları ancak gözlerin dehşetle bakakalacağı bir Güne kadar mühlet veriyor.
Boyunlarını uzatmış, başlarını kaldırmış, bakışlarını kendilerine çevirmeden ve kalpleri koca bir boşlukla ileri doğru koşuyorlar!
O halde insanları, kendilerine azabın ulaşacağı günle uyar. O zaman zalimler, “Rabbimiz! Bize kısa bir süre için de olsa mühlet ver, davetine icabet edeceğiz ve elçilere uyacağız!” diyecekler. “Ne! Daha önce çöküş yaşamayacağınız konusunda yemin etmemiş miydiniz?
“Kendilerine zulmeden insanların yurtlarında oturdunuz, onlara nasıl davrandığımız size açıkça gösterildi ve size birçok misaller verdik.”
Kurdukları tuzaklar gerçekten büyüktü, halbuki kurdukları tuzaklar, dağları yerinden oynatacak kadar da olsa, Allah’ın görüşündeydi!
Allah’ın elçilerini vaadinden caydıracağını asla sanma: Allah, mutlak güç,- azabın sahibidir.
Bir gün yeryüzü başka bir yeryüzüne dönüşecek, gökler de öyle olacak ve insanlar bir ve karşı konulmaz olan Allah’ın huzuruna getirilecekler;
Ve o gün günahkârları zincire vurulmuş olarak görürsün;
Giysileri sıvı ziftten, yüzleri ateşten;
Ta ki Allah, her nefse hak ettiğine göre mükâfat versin; Allah, hesabı çabuk görendir.
İşte insanlara bir mesaj: Ondan ibret alsınlar ve bilsinler ki O, ancak bir tek ilahtır: Akıl sahipleri sakınsınlar.

Ibrahim, or Abraham.

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

A.L.R. A Book which We have revealed unto thee,
in order that thou mightest lead mankind out of the

depths of darkness into light–by the leave of their Lord–to

the Way of (Him) the Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise! —

Of Allah, to Whom do belong all things in the heavens and on

earth! But alas for the Unbelievers for a terrible Penalty

(their Unfaith will bring them)! —

Those who love the life of this world more than the

Hereafter, who hinder (men) from the Path of Allah and seek

therein something crooked: They are astray by a long distance.

We sent not an apostle except (to teach) in the language of

his (own) people, in order to make (things) clear to them. Now

Allah leaves straying those whom He pleases and guides whom He

pleases: And He is exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom.

We sent Moses with Our Signs (and the command). “Bring out

thy people from the depths of darkness into light, and teach

them to remember the Days of Allah.” Verily in this are Signs

for such as are firmly patient and constant, –grateful and

appreciative.

Remember! Moses said to his people: “Call to mind the favor

of Allah to you when He delivered you from the people of

Pharaoh: They set you hard tasks and punishments, slaughtered

your sons, and let your womenfolk live: Therein was a tremendous

trial from your Lord.”

And remember! Your Lord caused to be declared (publicly): “If

ye are grateful, I will add more (favors) unto you; but if ye

show ingratitude, truly My punishment is terrible indeed.”

And Moses said: “If ye show ingratitude, ye and all on earth

together, –yet is Allah Free of all wants, Worthy of all

Praise.”

Has not the story reached you, (O people!), of those who

(went) before you? –Of the people of Noah, and Ad, and Thamud?

–and of those who (came) after them? None knows them but Allah.

To them came apostles with Clear (Signs); but they put their

hands up to their mouths, and said: “We do deny (the mission) on

which ye have been sent, and we really are in suspicious

(disquieting) doubt as to that to which ye invite us.”

The apostles said: “Is there a doubt about Allah, the

Creator of the heavens and the earth? It is He Who invites you,

in order that He may forgive you your sins and give you respite

for a term appointed!” They said: “Ah! Ye are no more than

human, like ourselves! Ye wish to turn us away from the (gods)

our fathers used to worship: Then bring us some clear

authority,”

Their apostles said to them: “True, we are human like

yourselves, but Allah doth grant His grace to such of His

servants as He pleases. It is not for us to bring you an

authority except as Allah permits. And on Allah let all men of

faith put their trust.

“No reason have we why we should not put our trust on Allah.

Indeed He has guided us to the Ways we (follow). We shall

certainly bear with patience all the hurt you may cause us. For

those who put their trust should put their trust on Allah.”

And the Unbelievers said to their apostles: “Be sure we

shall drive you out of our land, or ye shall return to our

religion.” But their Lord inspired (this Message) to them:

“Verily We shall cause the wrongdoers to perish!

“And verily We shall cause you to abide in the land, and

succeed them. This for such as fear the Time when they shall

stand before My tribunal, –such as fear the Punishment

denounced.”

But they sought victory and decision (there and then), and

frustration was the lot of every powerful obstinate

transgressor.

In front of such a one is Hell, and he is given, for drink,

boiling fetid water.

In gulps will he sip it, but never will he be near

swallowing it down his throat: Death will come to him from every

quarter, yet will he not die: And in front of him will be a

chastisement unrelenting.

The parable of those who reject their Lord is that their

works are as ashes, on which the wind blows furiously on a

tempestuous day: No power have they over aught that they have

earned: That is the straying far, far (from the Goal).

Seest thou not that Allah created the heavens and the earth

in Truth? If He so will, He can remove you and put (in your

place) a new Creation?

Nor is that for Allah any great matter.
They will all be marshaled before Allah together: Then will

the weak say to those who were arrogant, “For us, we but

followed you; can ye then avail us at all against the Wrath of

Allah?” They will reply, “If we had received the guidance of

Allah, we should have given it to you: To us it makes no

difference (now) whether we rage, or bear (these torments) with

patience: For ourselves there is no way of escape.”

And Satan will say when the matter is decided: “It was Allah

Who gave you a promise of Truth: I too promised, but I failed in

my promise to you. I had no authority over you except to call

you, but ye listened to me: Then reproach not me, but reproach

your own souls. I cannot listen to your cries, nor can ye listen

to mine. I reject your former act in associating me with Allah.

For wrongdoers there must be a grievous Penalty.”

But those who believe and work righteousness will be

admitted to Gardens beneath which rivers flow, –to dwell

therein for aye with the leave of their Lord. Their greeting

therein will be: “Peace!”

Seest thou not how Allah sets forth a parable? –a goodly

Word like a goodly tree, whose root is firmly fixed, and its

branches (reach) to the heavens, —

It brings forth its fruit at all times, by the leave of its

Lord. So Allah sets forth parables for men, in order that they

may receive admonition.

And the parable of an evil Word is that of an evil tree: It

is torn up by the root from the surface of the earth: It has no

stability.

Allah will establish in strength those who believe, with the

Word that stands firm, in this world and in the Hereafter; but

Allah will leave, to stray, those who do wrong: Allah doeth what

He willeth.

Hast thou not turned thy vision to those who have changed

the favor of Allah. Into blasphemy and caused their people to

descend to the House of Perdition? —

Into Hell? They will burn therein, –an evil place to stay

in!

And they set up (idols) as equal to Allah, to mislead (men)

from the Path! Say: “Enjoy (your brief power)! But verily ye are

making straightway for Hell!”

Speak to my servants who have believed, that they may

establish regular prayers, and spend (in charity) out of the

Sustenance We have given them, secretly and openly, before the

coming of a Day in which there will be neither mutual bargaining

nor befriending.

It is Allah Who hath created the heavens and the earth and

sendeth down rain from the skies, and with it bringeth out

fruits wherewith to feed you; it is He Who hath made the ships

subject to you, that they may sail through the sea by His

Command; and the rivers (also) hath He made subject to you.

And He hath made subject to you the sun and the moon, both

diligently pursuing their courses; and the Night and the Day

hath He (also) made subject to you.

And He giveth you of all that ye ask for. But if ye count

the favors of Allah, never will ye be able to number them.

Verily, man is given up to injustice and ingratitude.

Remember Abraham said: “O my Lord! Make this city one of

peace and security: And preserve me and my sons from worshipping

idols.

“O my Lord! They have indeed led astray many among mankind;

he then who follows my (ways) is of me, and he that disobeys me,

–but Thou art indeed Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

“O our Lord! I have made some of my offspring to dwell in a

valley without cultivation, by Thy Sacred House; in order, O our

Lord, that they may establish regular Prayer: So fill the hearts

of some among men with love towards them, and feed them with

Fruits: So that they may give thanks.

“O our Lord! Truly Thou dost know what we conceal and what

we reveal: For nothing whatever is hidden from Allah, whether on

earth or in heaven.

“Praised be to Allah, Who hath granted unto me in old age

Ismail and Isaac: For truly my Lord is He, the Hearer of Prayer!

“O my Lord! Make me one who establishes regular Prayer, and

also (raise such) among my offspring O our Lord! And accept Thou

my Prayer.

“O our Lord! Cover (us) with Thy Forgiveness–me, my

parents, and (all) Believers, on the Day that the Reckoning will

be established!”

Think not that Allah doth not heed the deeds of those who do

wrong. He but giveth them respite against a Day when the eyes

will fixedly stare in horror, —

They running forward with necks outstretched, their heads

uplifted, their gaze returning not towards them, and their

hearts a (gaping) void!

So warn mankind of the Day when the Wrath will reach them:

Then will the wrongdoers say: “Our Lord! Respite us (if only)

for a short Term: We will answer Thy Call, and follow the

apostles!” “What! Were ye not wont to swear aforetime that ye

should suffer no decline?

“And ye dwelt in the dwellings of men who wronged their own

souls; ye were clearly shown how We dealt with them; and We put

forth (many) Parables in your behoof!”

Mighty indeed were the plots which they made, but their

plots were (well) within the sight of Allah, even though they

were such to shake the hills!

Never think that Allah would fail His apostles in His

promise: For Allah is Exalted in Power, –the Lord of

Retribution.

One day the Earth will be changed to a different Earth, and

so will be the Heavens, and (men) will be marshaled forth,

before Allah, the One, the Irresistible;

And thou wily see the Sinners that day bound together in

fetters; —

Their garments of liquid pitch, and their faces covered with

Fire;

That Allah may require each soul according to its deserts;

and verily Allah is Swift in calling to account.

Here is a Message for mankind: Let them take warning

therefrom, and let them know that He is (no other than) One God:

Let men of understanding take heed.
