Hicr Suresi 15-54 ( Kayalık Yol )

SEVGİ VE MERHAMETİ SONSUZ ALLAH’IN ADIYLA

1. Elif. Lam. Ra. Bunlar, apaçık bildiren bir Kur’an’ın vahiy âyetleridir.
2. İnkar edenler, keşke İslam’a, Allah’ın rızasına, boyun eğmiş olsaydık diye tekrar tekrar diyecekler.
3. Onları rahat bırakın, bu hayatın güzel şeylerinin tadını çıkarsınlar ve kendilerini memnun etsinler: Bırakın boş umutlar onları eğlendirsin: yakında bilgi onları uyandıracaktır.
4. Biz, önceden belirlenmiş bir süresi olmayan bir topluluğu asla helâk etmedik.
5. Bir kavim, ecelini ne önceden tahmin edebilir, ne de geciktirebilir.
6. Derler ki: “Ey vahyolunan kimse, gerçekten sen delisin ya da cinnet geçirmişsin!”
7. “Eğer doğruysan, neden bize melekleri getirmiyorsun?”
8. Biz, haklı bir sebep olmadıkça melekleri indirmeyiz: eğer tanrısızlara geldiyseler, işte o zaman! mühletleri olmazdı!
9. Mesaj’ı şüphesiz Biz indirdik; Biz onu bozulmaktan mutlaka koruyacağız.
10. Senden önce de eski din fırkaları arasında peygamberler göndermiştik:
11. Ama onlara bir elçi gelipte onunla alay etmedikleri olmadı.
12. Buna rağmen günahkarların kalplerine sızmasına izin veriyoruz –
13. Mesaja inanmamaları gerektiğini; oysa/halbuki eskilerin yolları geçip gitti.
14. Biz onlara gökten bir kapı açsak ve onlar oraya bütün gün uçup yükselseler bile,
15. Onlar ancak: “Gözlerimiz sarhoş oldu: Hayır, biz sihirle büyülendik” derlerdi.
16. Burçları göklere yerleştiren ve onu bakan herkese güzel gösteren Biziz;
17. Ve ayrıca Biz onları kovulmuş her kötü ruhtan koruduk:
18. Ama gizlice işitebilen/duyum alabilen herkes, görmesi parlak olan alevli bir ateş tarafından takip edilir.
19. Yeryüzünü de bir halı gibi serdik; onun üzerine sağlam ve sarsılmaz dağlar yerleştirdik; ve orada her türlü şeyi ölçülü olarak üretmişizidir.
20. Ve orada geçim vasıtaları sağladık,- senin ve rızkından sorumlu olmadığın kimseler için.
21. Ve hiçbir şey yoktur ki, onun kaynakları ve tükenmeyen hazineleri Bizim yanımızda olmasın. Fakat Biz onu ancak uygun/gereken ve kesin/tespit edilebilir ölçülerde indiririz.
22. Ve siz onun depolarının/hazinelerinin bekçisi olmasanız da, gökten yağmur yağdıran bereketli rüzgarlar gönderip onunla size bol bol su veririz.
23. Ve şüphesiz Biz diriltiriz ve Biz öldürürüz; her şey öldükten sonra varis olarak kalan Biziz.
24. Bize ileri gidenler de, geri kalanlar da bilinir.
25. Şüphesiz onları bir araya toplayacak olan senin Rabbindir; çünkü O, hikmet ve ilim bakımından mükemmeldir.
26. Biz insanı sağlam balçıktan, şekil verilmiş çamurdan yarattık.
27. Cin ırkını da daha önce kavurucu bir rüzgarın ateşinden yaratmıştık.
28. İşte bakın! Rabbin meleklere şöyle demişti: “Ben, şekillendirilmiş balçıktan, şekil verilmiş çamurdan insanı yaratacağım;
29. “Onu uygun bir şekle soktuğum ve ona ruhumdan üflediğim zaman, ona secdeye kapanın.”
30. Bunun üzerine melekler hep birlikte secdeye kapandılar:
31. İblis öyle yapmadı, secde edenlerden olmayı reddetti.
32. Allah dedi ki: “Ey İblis! Secde edenlerden olmamanın sebebi nedir?”
33. İblis dedi ki: “Ben, sağlam balçıktan, şekil verilmiş çamurdan yarattığın insana secde edecek biri değilim.”
34. Allah dedi ki: “Öyleyse defol buradan, çünkü sen reddedilmişsin, kovulmuşsun.
35. “Ve Kıyamet gününe kadar lanet senin üzerindedir.”
36. İblis dedi ki: “Rabbim! Artık ölülerin diriltilecekleri güne kadar bana mühlet ver.”
37. Allah dedi ki: “Sana mühlet verildi.
38. “Belirlenen Zamanın Gününe Kadar.”
39. İblis dedi ki: “Rabbim! Madem ki beni zulme düşürdün, ben de onları günahı yeryüzünde süsleyeceğim ve hepsini zulmete uğratacağım.”
40. “İçlerinden ihlaslı ve Senin lütfunla/merhametinle/rahmetinle arınmış kulların müstesna.”
41. Allah buyurdu ki: “Bu samimî kullarımın yolu, şüphesiz bana dosdoğru giden bir yoldur.
42. “Çünkü kullarım üzerinde, ancak kendilerine zulmedenler ve sana tabi olanlar dışında senin hiçbir hükmün yoktur.”
43. Ve şüphesiz Cehennem, onların hepsi için vaat edilen yerdir!
44. Ona yedi kapı vardır: o kapıların her biri için özel bir sınıf günahkârlar tayin edilmiştir.
45. Takvâ sahipleri, bahçeler ve berrak akan pınarlar içindedirler.
46. Onların selamı, “Esenlik ve güvenlik içinde buraya girin” olacaktır.
47. Kalplerinden her türlü incitme hissini gidereceğiz: onlar tahtlar üzerinde karşılıklı sevinçle kardeş olacaklardır.
48. Onlara yorgunluk dokunmaz ve onlardan asla çıkmaları da istenmez.
49. Kullarıma söyle ki, ben gerçekten çok bağışlayanım, çok merhamet edenim;
50. Ve benim azabım, şüphesiz en şiddetli azap olacaktır.
51. Onlara İbrahim’in misafirlerinden bahset.
52. Huzuruna girip “Selâm!” dediler. “Sizden korkuyoruz/korku hissediyoruz!” dedi.
53. “Korkma! Biz sana hikmet/erdem sahibi bir oğul müjdeliyoruz” dediler.
54. Dedi ki: “Beni yaşlılığın yakaladığını mı müjdeliyor musunuz? O halde sizin müjdeniz nedir?”
55. Dediler ki: “Sana hak olarak müjdeliyoruz; öyleyse umutsuzluğa kapılma!”
56. Dedi ki: “Ve Rabbinin rahmetinden, sapıtanlardan başka kim ümit keser?”
57. İbrahim dedi ki: “Öyleyse, geldiğiniz iş nedir, ey Allah’ın elçileri?”
58. Dediler ki: “Biz derin günaha batmış bir topluluğa gönderildik.
59. “Lût’un ehli müstesna: Biz, onları beladan kurtarmakla yükümlüyüz.
60. “Ancak, geride kalacağını tespit ettiğimiz karısı müstesna.”
61. Nihayet Lut’un yandaşlarının arasına elçiler gelince,
62. Lut dedi ki: “Siz sıra dışı insanlara benziyorsunuz.”
63. Dediler ki: “Evet, biz sana şüphe ettikleri şeyi gerçekleştirmek için geldik.
64. “Biz sana kaçınılmaz olanı getirdik ve şüphesiz biz doğruyu söylüyoruz.
65. “Öyleyse, gecenin bir kısmı daha kaldığında, ailenle arkanı dön ve gece yola çık; sizden kimse arkasına bakmasın, emrolunduğunuz yere gidin.”
66. Ve ona, o günahkarların son kalıntılarının sabaha kadar yok edilmesi gerektiğini bildirdik.
67. Şehir halkı gençlerin haberini duyunca deli bir sevinç içinde geldiler.
68. Lut dedi ki: “Bunlar benim misafirlerimdir, beni rezil etmeyin.
69. “Fakat Allah’tan korkun ve beni utandırmayın.”
70. Dediler ki: “Biz seni her şey için konuşmaktan men etmedik mi?”
71. O: “Öyle yapmanız gerekiyorsa, işte evlenilecek kızlarım var” dedi.
72. Andolsun ki, ey Peygamber, senin canına yemin olsun ki, onlar çılgın sarhoşlukları, oyalanma içinde bir ileri bir geri dolaşıyorlar.
73. Ama güçlü Patlama/Sarsıntı sabah olmadan onları yakaladı,
74. Ve şehirleri alt üst ettik ve üzerlerine balçık gibi sert kükürt yağdırdık.
75. İşte bakın! Bunda, anlayanlar için ibretler vardır.
76. Ve şehirler tam anayol üzerindeydi.
77. İşte bakın! Bunda inananlar için bir ibret vardır!
78. Ve Orman ehli de/Eykililerde zalimlerdi;
79. Biz de onlardan intikam aldık. İkisi de açık bir anayoldaydı, açıkça görülebiliyordu.
80. Kayalık Yolun Ashabı da/ Hicr Halkı da habercileri reddetti:
81. Onlara ilahilerimizi/ayetlerimizi gönderdik de onlardan yüz çevirmekte ısrar ettiler.
82. Kendilerini güvende hissederek yapılarını dağlardan yonttular.
83. Fakat güçlü Patlama/Sarsıntı onları bir sabah yakaladı,
84. Öylesine bir ustalıkla ve dikkatle bütün yaptıkları onlara hiçbir yarar sağlamadı!
85. Biz gökleri, yeri ve ikisinin arasındakileri ancak hak için yarattık. Ve apaçık ortaya çıkacağı saat mutlaka gelecektir. O hâlde her türlü insani kusuru lütufkâr bir mağfiret ile mazur görün.
86. Çünkü her şeyi bilen, yaratıcılığın üstün sahibi Rabbindir.
87. Ve sana yedi âyet-i kerimeleri/seb’an mine-l nesani/ikişerlilerden yedileri ve Kur’an-ı Kerim’i ihsan ettik.
88. Gözlerini zorlama. Onlardan bir kısmına verdiğimiz rızığa hasret çekip, onlara üzülme. Müminlere karşı lütufkâr kanatlarını indir.
89. Ve de ki: “Gerçekten ben, açıktan açığa ve hiçbir şüpheye yer bırakmadan uyaranım.”-
90. Kitab’ı keyfi kısımlara / keyfi parçalara ayıranlara indirdiğimiz gazabın ardından,—
91. Kur’an’ı diledikleri gibi parça parça edenlere.
92. O halde, Rabbine andolsun ki Biz, onlardan mutlaka hesap soracağız.
93. Tüm yaptıkları için.
94. Öyleyse, emrolunduğun şeyi açıkça bildir ve Allah’a ortak koşanlardan yüz çevir.
95. Çünkü alay edenlere karşı Biz sana yeteriz,-
96. Onlar ki, Allah ile birlikte başka bir ilah edinirler: fakat yakında bileceklerdir.
97. Onların söylediklerinden senin kalbinin nasıl daraldığını gerçekten biliyoruz.
98. Ama Rabbini hamd ile tesbih et ve secde edenlerden ol.
99. Ve Kesin olan Saat sana gelinceye kadar Rabbine hizmet et.

Al-Hijr, or The Rocky Tract. 

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

1. A.L.R. These are the Ayats of

Revelation, –of a Koran that makes things clear.

2. Again and again will those who disbelieve, wish that they had

bowed (to Allah’s Will) in Islam.

3. Leave them alone, to enjoy (the good things of this life) and

to please themselves: Let (false) Hope amuse them: Soon will

knowledge (undeceive them).

4. Never did We destroy a population that had not a term decreed

and assigned beforehand.

5. Neither can a people anticipate its Term, nor delay it.

6. They say: “O thou to whom the Message is being revealed!

Truly thou art mad (or possessed)!

7. “Why bringest thou not angels to us if it be that thou hast

the Truth?”

8.We send not the angels down except for just cause: If they

came (to the ungodly), Behold! No respite would they have!

9. We have, without doubt. Sent down the Message; and We will

assuredly guard it (from corruption).

10. We did send apostles before thee amongst the religious sects

of old:

11. But never came an apostle to them but they mocked him.

12. Even so do we let it creep into the hearts of the sinners-

13. That they should not believe in the (Message); but the ways

of the ancients have passed away.

14. Even if We opened out to them a gate from heaven, and they

were to continue (all day) ascending therein,

15. They would only say: “Our eyes have been intoxicated: Nay,

we have been bewitched by sorcery.”

16. It is We Who have set out the Zodiacal Signs in the heavens,

and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders;

17. And (moreover) We have guarded them from every evil spirit

accursed:

18. But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursed by a

flaming fire, bright (to see).

19. And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set

thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all

kinds of things in due balance.

20. And We have provided therein means of subsistence, –for you

and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible.

21. And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures

(inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in

due and ascertainable measures.

22. And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to

descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in

abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores.

23. And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death; It

is We Who remain Inheritors (after all else passes away).

24. To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those

who lag behind.

25. Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: For

He is Perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge.

26. We created man from sounding clay, from mud molded into

shape;

27. And the Jinn race, We had created before, from the fire of a

scorching wind.

28. Behold! Thy Lord said to the angels: “I am about to create

man, from sounding clay from mud molded into shape;

29. “When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed

into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him.”

30. So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together:

31. Not so Iblis: He refused to be among those who prostrated

themselves.

32. (Allah) said: “O Iblis! What is your reason for not being

among those who prostrated themselves?”

33. (Iblis) said: “I am not one to prostrate myself to man, whom

Thou didst create from sounding clay, from mud molded into

shape.”

34. (Allah) said: “Then get thee out from here; for thou art

rejected, accursed.

35. “And the Curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment.”

36. (Iblis) said: “O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day

the (dead) are raised.”

37. (Allah) said: “Respite is granted thee–

38. “Till the Day of the Time Appointed.”

39. (Iblis) said: “O my Lord! Because Thou hast put me in the

wrong, I will make (wrong) fair-seeming to them on earth, and I

will put them all in the wrong, —

40. “Except Thy servants among them, sincere and purified (by

Thy grace).”

41. (Allah) said: “This (Way of my sincere servants) is indeed a

Way that leads straight to Me.

42. “For over My servants no authority shalt thou have, except

such as put themselves in the wrong and follow thee.”

43. And verily, Hell is the promised abode for them all!

44. To it are seven Gates: For each of those Gates is a

(special) class (of sinners) assigned.

45. The righteous (will be) amid Gardens and fountains (of clear

flowing water).

46. (Their greeting will be): “Enter ye here in Peace and

Security.”

47. And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of

injury: (They will be) brothers (joyfully) facing each other on

thrones (of dignity).

48. There no sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they

(ever) be asked to leave.

49. Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-Forgiving, Most

Merciful;

50. And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous

Penalty.

51. Tell them about the guests of Abraham.

52. When they entered his presence and said, “Peace!” He said,

“We feel afraid of you!”

53. They said: “Fear not! We give thee glad tidings of a son

endowed with wisdom.”

54. He said: “Do ye give me glad tidings that old age has seized

me? Of what, then is your good news?”

55. They said: “We give thee glad tidings in truth: Be not then

in despair!”

56. He said: “And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but

such as go astray?”

57. Abraham said: “What then is the business on which ye (have

come), O ye Messengers (of Allah)?”

58. They said: “We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin,

59. “Excepting the adherents of Lut: Them we are certainly

(charged) to save (from harm), –All–

60. “Except his wife, who we have ascertained, will be among

those who will lag behind.”

61. At length when the messengers arrived among the adherents of

Lut,

62. He said: “Ye appear to be uncommon folk.”

63. They said: “Yea, we have come to thee to accomplish that of

which they doubt.

64. “We have brought to thee that which is inevitable due, and

assuredly we tell the truth.

65. “Then travel by night with thy household, when a portion of

the night (yet remains), and do thou bring up the rear: Let no

one amongst you look back, but pass on whither ye are ordered.”

66. And We made known this decree to him, that the last remnants

of those (sinners) should be cut of by the morning.

67. The inhabitants of the City came in (mad) joy (at news of

the young men).

68. Lut said: “These are my guests: Disgrace me not:

69. “But fear Allah, and shame me not.”

70. They said: “Did we not forbid thee (to speak) for all and

sundry?”

71. He said: “There are my daughters (to marry), if ye must act

(so).”

72. Verily, by thy life (O Prophet), in their wild intoxication,

they wander in distraction, to and fro.

73. But the (mighty) Blast overtook them before morning;

74. And We turned (the Cities) upside down, and rained down on

them brimstones hard as baked clay.

75. Behold! In this are Signs for those who by tokens do

understand.

76. And the (Cities were) right on the highroad.

77. Behold! In this is a Sign for those who believe!

78. And the Companions of the Wood were also wrongdoers;

79. So We exacted retribution from them. They were both on an

open highway, plain to see.

80. The Companions of the Rocky Tract also rejected the.

apostles:

81. We sent them Our Signs, but they persisted in turning away

from them.

82. Out of the mountains did they hew (their) edifices, (feeling

themselves) secure.

83. But the (mighty) Blast seized them of a morning,

84. And of no avail to them was all that they did (with such art

and care)!

85. We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them,

but for just ends. And the Hour is surely coming (when this will

be manifest). So overlook (any human faults) with gracious

forgiveness.

86. For verily it is thy Lord who is the Master-Creator, knowing

all things.

87. And We have bestowed upon thee the Seven Oft-repeated

(Verses) and the Grand Koran.

88. Strain not thine eyes. (Wistfully) at what We have bestowed

on certain classes of them, nor grieve over them: But lower thy

wing (in gentleness) to the Believers.

89. And say: “I am indeed he that warneth openly and without

ambiguity,”

90. (Of just such wrath) as We sent down on those who divided

(Scripture into arbitrary parts), —

91. (So also on such) as have made Koran into shreds (as they

please).

92. Therefore, by the Lord, We will, of a surety, call them to

account,

93. For all their deeds.

94. Therefore expound openly what thou art commanded, and turn

away from those who join false gods with Allah.

95. For sufficient are We unto thee against those who scoff, –

96. Those who adopt, with Allah, another god: But soon will they

come to know.

97. We do indeed know how thy heart is distressed at what they

say.

98. But celebrate the praises of thy Lord, and be of those who

prostrate themselves in adoration.

99. And serve thy Lord until there come unto thee the Hour that

is Certain.
