SEVGİ VE MERHAMETİ SONSUZ ALLAH’IN ADIYLA

1. Ehl-i kitaptan ve müşriklerden hakkı inkar edenler, kendilerine apaçık bir delil gelinceye kadar yollarından ayrılmayacaklardı,-
2. Allah’ın bir elçisi, temiz ve mukaddes tutulan kutsal/mübarek yazıları okuyor:
3. Kanunlar ve hükümlerin hak ve dosdoğru olduğu.
4. Kitap Ehli de kendilerine apaçık deliller gelinceye kadar ayrılıkçılığa kalkışmadılar.
5. Ve onlara bundan başka bir şey emrolunmadı: Allah’a ibadet etmeleri, O’na ihlâsla kulluk etmeleri/ O’na samimi bağlılık göstermeleri/sunmaları, inançlarında hakiki olmaları; salatı düzenli ikame etmeleri; ve düzenli hayır işleri yapmaları; İşte bu, Hak ve Dosdoğru Din’dir.
6. Ehl-i kitaptan ve müşriklerden hakkı inkâr edenler, cehennem ateşindedirler ve orada sonsuza dek kalırlar. Onlar yaratıkların en kötüsüdür.
7. İman edip salih ameller işleyenler, işte onlar yaratılanların en hayırlısıdır.
8. Onların mükâfatı Allah katındadır. altlarından ırmaklar akan sonsuzluk bahçeleri; orada ebedî kalacaklardır; Allah onlardan razı olmuştur, onlar da O’ndan: Bütün bunlar, Rablerinden ve Azizlerinden korkup sakınanlar içindir.

Baiyina, or The Clear Evidence.

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

1. Those who reject (Truth) among the People of the Book and
   among the Polytheists, were not going to depart (from their ways)
   until there should come to them Clear Evidence, –
2. An apostle from Allah rehearsing scriptures kept pure and
   holy:
3. Wherein are laws (or decrees) right and straight.
4. Nor did the People of the Book make schisms, until after
   there came to them Clear Evidence.
5. And they have been commanded no more than this: To worship
   Allah, offering Him sincere devotion, being True (in faith); to
   establish regular Prayer; and to practice regular Charity; and
   that is the Religion Right and Straight.
6. Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and
   among the Polytheists, will be in Hellfire, to dwell therein
   (for aye). They are the worst of creatures.
7. Those who have faith and do righteous deeds, –they are the
   best of creatures.
8. Their reward is with Allah: Gardens of Eternity, beneath
   which rivers flow; they will dwell therein forever; Allah well
   pleased with them, and they with Him: All this for such as fear
   their Lord and Cherisher.
